the dust has settled on what was our best art fair ever. here’s a look at our booth:
one of emil lukas’ “larvae” paintings (made using fly larvae to drag pigment across the canvas, leaving inky trails in their wake) with jay defeo’s blue nile from 1986.

and gideon rubin’s paintings on found pre-cultural revolution chinese movie magazines.
a selection of marco maggi’s “drawings” — cut paper, aluminum foil, graphite and scratched onto plexiglass.
on the inside of the booth, an oil painting by jutta haeckel, flanked by a jim campbell resin work on the right and a wall of photographs and drawings by jay defeo.
